This Austrian Alpine Coaster was the World's longest (3.535km - approx 2.2 miles) when I rode it in 2005, and I rode this just a couple of hours before riding the very scary single pipe Sommerrodelbahn at Mieders - see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqCkIC...
The published ride time is 9 minutes, but without using the brakes until the very end my "brakeman" Darren Hoy and I completed the ride in just 5 minutes (average speed 42.5kph, 26mph).

Moj šogi je htio to napraviti na Sljemenu, investicija više milijuna eura, no suočen sa vlastitim neshvaćanjem plaćanja nečije "dobre volje" u Grdaskom Poglavarstvu Zagreba, maltene je nasilno zaustavljen u želji da to instalira, naravno uz sve legalno i zakonito poslovanje od gradnje pa nadalje... nije u Zagrebu interes javno dobro i da ljudi imaju, nego je samo - to može eventualno ako prije namiriš bogomdane face, čiji su taociu svi građani, neovisno o razini na kojoj "posluju"...

Kak bi bila duga steza? Kak to opče dela?

On je mislio napraviti sa svojom građevinskom tvrtkom stazu austrijskog tipa, ona sa jednom šinom po sredini, sa padom na zagorsku stranu i ukupne dužine cca 1800-2200 metara, ovisno o izvedbi, a završavala bi negdje blizu donje stanice trosjedežnice. Bila bi vrhunska zabava i turistička atrakcija Zagreba, Zagorja i Sljemena, no papirologija bi koooooštalaaaa.... ponajviše kunski u sedam znamenaka na stavkama koje na papiru - ni ne postoje...
